Jumpin’ the Gun was honoured to capture an epic meeting of minds. On February 8th, Brenda Goldblatt, daughter of the late David Goldblatt, sat down for an intimate and engaging session with Ashley Walters, distinguished artist and head of photography at the University of Stellenbosch.

Exploring the profound impact of David Goldblatt's work on South African photography, it was truly a memorable occasion, where art, heritage, and community converged in a celebration of creativity and storytelling. 

Hosted at Oude Leeskamer, the event was jointly curated by the Stellenbosch Triennale alongside proud patrons Private Clients at Old Mutual Wealth and Anelisa Mancu (Under the Aegis) as the organisers of the Stellenbosch Outdoor Photography Exhibition.
